Garden creation

Like a home, a garden is never truly finished. It continues to shape the way we see, feel and live,
season after season.

Our garden begins with three trees that set the tone for what will grow here for decades to come
— and, we hope, continue to grow long after we are gone.

Below: Kuro-matsu 黒松

A seventy-year-old black pine. A quiet presence that brings permanence, structure and calm throughout the seasons.

Momiji 紅葉

Planted beside the hinoki bath, its changing leaves and gentle komorebi remind us that beauty is found as much in passing moments as in enduring ones.

Shidare-zakura 枝垂れ桜

Each spring, its cascading blossoms mark the arrival of a new season—an invitation to pause, gather and appreciate the fleeting nature of life.
